Our story
We are a close knit family that recently renovated one of the first hotels in Cabarete. El Kaoba is located close to all the important spots in town, just a few steps from one of the most outstanding beaches for windsurfing and kitesurfing in the world, a 10-minute drive from the popular surfing beach, Encuentro, and a 25-minute drive from the Puerto Plata airport.
El Kaoba hotel and residence provides short-term and long-term stays with various room types and full of amenities. There are three types of accommodations: 28 individual bungalows perfect for privacy, there are 30 rooms overlooking the lagoon with breathtaking views, equipped with 10 rooms, studios and apartments overlooking the lush gardens.
A beautiful, scenic pool and garden pathways make the area enjoyable to explore. We also have a restaurant and some local businesses for you to enjoy during your stay.
